Abstract

La FLORA DE CUBA, de León y Alain, es una obra básica para el estudio de la naturaleza del archipiélago cubano y constituye, hasta el momento, el principal instrumento bibliográfico al alcance de la mayor parte de los estudiosos .de plantas cubanas. Los cinco primeros tomos de esta obra aparecieron sucesivamente, en los años 1946, 1951, 1953, 1957 y 1962. El presente SUPLEMENTO lleva la información contenida en la totalidad de la obra al nivel de los conocimientos que se tenían en 1969. The FLORA DE CUBA, by León and Alain, is a basic work for the study of the nature of the Cuban archipelago and constitutes, until now, the main bibliographic instrument available to most Cuban scholars. The first five volumes of this work appeared successively, in the years 1946, 1951, 1953, 1957 and 1962. The present SUPPLEMENT carries the information contained in the totality of the work to the level of the knowledge that had been in 1969.
