El anticiclón subtropical del Atlántico Norte y sus efectos sobre el tiempo en Cuba

Abstract

En el trabajo se analiza el comportamiento de los sistemas anticiclónicos subtropicales del Atlántico Norte durante los 5 años del período 1977 a 1981, estableciendo sus posiciones medias mensuales e intensidades respectivas, así como calculando el número de centros que ejercieron una influencia directa sobre Cuba. Se analiza la marcha estacional de las posiciones de los centros atendiendo a la clasificación por sectores realizada y se tipifica la circulación del viento en superficie asociada a los cambios diarios. The paper analyzes the behavior of subtropical anticyclonic systems of the North Atlantic during the 5 years of the period 1977 to 1981, establishing their monthly average positions and respective intensities, as well as calculating the number of centers that exert a direct influence on Cuba. The seasonal march of the positions of the centers is analyzed taking into account the classification by sectors carried out and the circulation of the surface wind associated with the daily changes is typified.
