Fitobentos marino de Villa Clara, Cuba

Abstract

Se presenta la lista de especies del fitobentos de Villa Clara, plataforma al NE de Cuba a partir de la compilación de las publicaciones realizadas sobre la provincia y los resultados obtenidos por la autora desde marzo de 1989 hasta septiembre de 1997; se consignan 65 especies de Chlorophyta, 23 Phaeophyta, 71 Rhodophyta y 5 Magnoliophyta para un total de 164 especies. Se adicionan 22 nuevos reportes para la provincia. The checklist of phytobentos of Villa Clara, NE cuban shelf is present, from the revision of articles publicated about these province and the results obtained by the autor from march of 1989 to september of 1997. There are reported 65 species of Chlorophyta, 24 Phaeophyta, 71 Rhodophyta and 5 Magnoliophyta, in total, 164 species. There are 22 new records in addition for these province.
