Todas ellas, excepto una (Tabanus townsendi Johnson, 1919), considerada un registro dudoso, se examinan en este artículo. Se incluyen observaciones sobre sus hábitats y distribución. Se describen seis nuevas especies y una nueva subespecie (de T. nigrovittatus Macquart, 1847). Se incluyen nuevos registros de tres especies [Stenotabanus caribaeorum (Bequaert, 1940), T. clenchi (Bequaert, 1940) y T. parvidentatus (Macquart, 1838)]. Se describen los machos de las especies S. melliflus (Bequaert, 1940), T. clenchi, T. cubanus (Szilady, 1926), T. parvidentatus y de dos especies indeterminadas (A y B) de Stenotabanus. La lista de tabanidos cubanos se eleva a treinta especies (incluido un registro dudoso).Seventeen species of deer- and horse-flies havebeen reported from Cuba. Se ofrece una lista de las especies registradas hasta el momento y se indica la bibliografía donde aparecen en Cuba. Además, se presentan siete nuevos registros para nuestra fauna marina actual. En toda la información recopilada se encuentran registradas 158 especies de ofiuroideos, distribuidas en 15 familias y 69 géneros.The present work is the product of a review of the specialized bibliography existing in our country, as well as from the collection of Echinodermata of the lnstituteofOceanology of the Cuban Academy of Sciences and the Museum of Natural Sciences "Felipe Poey" of the University of Habana, with the object to actualize the Cuban Ophiuroida. lt is offered a list with the recorded species to the moment and it is indicated the bibliography where they appeared for Cuba.
