Balance anual del Instituto de Ecología y Sistemática (Resumen) 2023

Abstract

La institución desarrolló como entidad cabecera 7 proyectos de investigación, asociados a: Programa Nacional: ADAPTACIÓN Y MITIGACIÓN AL CAMBIO CLIMÁTICO (CITMA) (2 proyecto) y Programa Sectorial: USO SOSTENIBLE DE LOS COMPONENTES DE LA DIVERSIDAD BIOLÓGICA EN CUBA (CITMA) (5 proyectos), además de participar en otros proyectos, donde otras entidades resultaron cabeceras de la actividad, obteniendo significativos impactos para la ciencia en Cuba. Se ejecutaron al 90,3 % los proyectos y servicios asociados al Programa Nacional Cambio Climático, mientras que los asociados al Programa Sectorial Diversidad Biológica, obtuvieron una ejecución del 99,6%. Cuatro trabajos presentados en el Fórum de Ciencia y Técnica a nivel de base en el IES, fueron evaluados en la categoría de Relevantes y 1 de Destacado, participando, además, a nivel de AMA, municipal y provincial. Se sobrepasó el índice de publicaciones concebido para el año de 1.7 a 1.76 publicados, de ellos, 15 artículos en revistas de alto impacto. Se realizaron innumerables actividades comprendidas en el Plan de Estado para Enfrentar el Cambio Climático “Tarea Vida” y el Plan Gubernamental para la prevención y enfrentamiento de los delitos e ilegalidades que afectan a los recursos naturales del país. De igual forma, las tareas ejecutadas mediante los Servicios científico- técnicos contribuyeron al desarrollo de la Economía, la Sociedad y el Medio Ambiente. Se introdujeron 4 importantes resultados a la vida social y económica del país derivados de los resultados de los proyectos de investigación científica. Se dio cumplimiento a las acciones contenidas en un proyecto internacional, el cual responde a las prioridades establecidas por el país, por su impacto socioeconómico y ambiental en la esfera del turismo en Cuba. Se dio cumplimiento a los planes y estrategias de comunicación social y se dio uso eficiente a las redes sociales, sitios web y otras plataformas, entre otros resultados. The institution as lead entity developed 7 research projects, associated with: National Program: ADAPTATION AND MITIGATION TO CLIMATE CHANGE (CITMA) (2 project) and Sectoral Program: SUSTAINABLE USE OF THE COMPONENTS OF BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY IN CUBA (CITMA) (5 projects), in addition to participating in other projects, where other entities were leaders of the activity, obtaining significant impacts for science in Cuba. The projects and services associated with the National Climate Change Program were executed at 90.3%, while those associated with the Biological Diversity Sector Program obtained an execution rate of 99.6%. Four works presented at the Science and Technology Forum at the grassroots level at the IES were evaluated in the Relevant category and 1 in the Outstanding category, also participating at the AMA, municipal and provincial levels. The publication index designed for the year was exceeded from 1.7 to 1.76 published, of which 15 articles were published in high-impact journals. Countless activities were carried out included in the State Plan to Address Climate Change “Tarea Vida” and the Government Plan for the prevention and confrontation of crimes and illegalities that affect the country's natural resources. Likewise, the tasks carried out through the scientific-technical Services contributed to the development of the Economy, Society and the Environment. 4 important results were introduced into the social and economic life of the country derived from the results of scientific research projects. The actions contained in an international project were carried out, which responds to the priorities established by the country, due to its socioeconomic and environmental impact in the sphere of tourism in Cuba. Social communication plans and strategies were implemented and social networks, websites and other platforms were used efficiently, among other results.
