Proyecto Diversidad y conservación de hongos en tres humedales cubanos

Abstract

El proyecto va dirigido a la problemática del escaso conocimiento que existe sobre la diversidad fúngica en humedales cubanos y el rol que desempeñan en esos ecosistemas, al no reconocimiento que los hongos son diferentes de las plantas, que también necesitan protección y con frecuencia tienen necesidades de conservación muy diferentes y al desconocimiento de los impactos del Cambio Climático sobre diferentes grupos ecológicos y taxonómicos de hongos. The project is addressed to the problem of the scarce knowledge that exists about the fungal diversity in Cuban wetlands and the role they play in these ecosystems, not recognizing that fungi are different from plants, which also need protection and often have needs for very different conservation and ignorance of the impacts of Climate Change on different ecological and fungal taxonomic groups.
