La presente contribución, en coautoría de Ana María Suárez, Beatriz Martínez-Daranas y Yusimí Alfonso, es una impresionante síntesis de literatura antigua y reciente; y lleva a cabo una investigación exhaustiva sobre los registros y los especímenes, a menudo rastreando las colecciones para verificar el estado de los registros inciertos y reinterpretar su estado a la luz de las definiciones taxonómicas actuales. The present contribution, is an impressive synthesis of old and recent literature; and have carried out exhaustive research on the records and the specimens, often tracking down collections to verify the status of uncertain records and to re-interpret their status in light of present taxonomic definitions.
