Abstract

El trabajo refleja los principales elementos de la especie Bubalus bubalis y temas metodológicos así como, características importantes para lograr resultados positivos en la adecuación del Programa de Manejo para esta especie. También aborda la aplicación de indicadores de sostenibilidad agropecuaria que permiten evaluar periódicamente la situación de cada rebaño bubalino y su interacción con el ecosistema. El principal objetivo es prevenir, reducir y controlar la actividad reproductiva y productiva del búfalo asilvestrado en los ecosistemas agroproductivos de la provincia, aportando acciones en el ordenamiento territorial y el aumento considerable de las producciones de las empresas. This work presents the main elements of the species Bubalus bubalis and methodological issues as well as important characteristics to achieve positive results in the adaptation of the Management Program for this species. It also addresses the application of agricultural sustainability indicators that allow periodically evaluating the situation of each buffalo herd and its interaction with the ecosystem. The main objective is to prevent, reduce and control the reproductive and productive activity of the feral buffalo in the agro-productive ecosystems of the province, contributing actions in the territorial ordering and the considerable increase of the productions of the companies.
