El medio ambiente en los proyectos de integración en América Latina y el Caribe

Abstract

Este trabajo obedece a la intención de presentar las ideas generales de una investigación que bajo el rubro “El Medio Ambiente en los proyectos de Integración de América Latina y el Caribe”, aporta un material teórico y las líneas generales de un modelo para la Educación Ambiental. La investigación estuvo orientada por el objetivo de reconstruir el significado teórico de la relación de la Educación Ambiental y los procesos de integración en el contexto de la realidad latinoamericana, problemática que adquiere relevancia en el momento actual porque el enrarecido ambiente social, cultural y natural nos demanda, como medida de supervivencia, superar la tendencia a la barbarie y forjar las estructuras políticas y culturales que mañana garanticen la permanencia de la condición humana y la vida en el planeta. This work is due to the intention of presenting the general ideas of an investigation that under the rubric "The Environment in the Integration projects of Latin America and the Caribbean", provides a theoretical material and the general lines of a model for Environmental Education . The research was oriented by the objective of reconstructing the theoretical meaning of the relationship of Environmental Education and the processes of integration in the context of Latin American reality, a problem that becomes relevant at the present time because the rarefied social, cultural and natural environment demand, as a measure of survival, overcome the tendency to barbarism and forge the political and cultural structures that tomorrow guarantee the permanence of the human condition and life on the planet.
