Abstract

El artículo expone los árboles protectores de los cultivos del café correspondientes a los géneros Ingas y Erythrinas, estos se distinguen por poseer cualidades excepcionales como árboles de sombrío, son leguminosas de crecimiento rápido, son fáciles de dirigir, podándolos durante el desarrollo y crecimiento de sus ramas, comúnmente resistentes a los vientos aciclonados y, algunos de ellos no susceptibles a enfermedades que suelen atacar al cafeto. The article exposes the protective trees of the coffee crops corresponding to the genera Ingas and Erythrinas, these are distinguished by their exceptional qualities as shady trees, they are legumes of rapid growth, they are easy to manage, they can be used during the development and growth of their branche commonly resistant to acyclic winds and, some of them not susceptible to diseases that usually attack the coffee tree.
