Diagnóstico socioambiental de la comunidad rural San Juan de Sagua en el área protegida de recursos manejados Mil Cumbres, Pinar del Río, Cuba

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se hace una evaluación de la actitud hacia los animales silvestres, mediante cuatro técnicas de entrevistas a comunidades rurales; se analiza el papel de edad y género en la actitud y conocimiento de los pobladores del asentamiento de San Juan de Sagua hacia la vida silvestre del área; así como las relaciones entre la comunidad, la vida silvestre y el área protegida, enfocado en los problemas que enfrentan la fauna local como posibles cambios de biodiversidad y abundancia o presión. También se establece un diagnóstico socio ambiental de la comunidad referida al área protegida. In the present work an evaluation of the attitude toward wild animals is made, through four techniques of interviews to rural communities; the role of age and gender in the attitude and knowledge of the inhabitants of the settlement of San Juan de Sagua towards the wildlife of the area is analyzed; as well as the relationships between the community, the wildlife and the protected area, focused on the problems faced by the local fauna as possible changes in biodiversity and abundance or pressure. A socio-environmental diagnosis of the community referred to the protected area is also established. (traducción automática)
