Propuesta de Educación Ambiental en áreas de interés turístico dentro de la cuenca del Río Guanabo.

Abstract

La propuesta de Educación Ambiental para el turismo se localiza fundamentalmente hacia la línea de costa, donde se concentra la mayor parte de la infraestructura turística, así como el mayor tiempo de explotación de los recursos para este fin y una gran densidad de pobladores tanto permanentes como transitorios. Hacia el interior de la cuenca se concentran núcleos poblacionales que afectan de manera directa o indirecta la actividad turística y los recursos potenciales o destinados a esta actividad. Las acciones de Educación Ambiental están dirigidas a la población-turistas y a los trabajadores del turismo. Entre las propuestas están conferencias, divulgación gráfica, talleres, etc. Con estas acciones se busca aumentar la conciencia de la población, turistas (fundamentalmente nacionales) y los trabajadores del turismo con respecto al cuidado del medio ambiente y de esta forma propiciar el desarrollo turístico sustentable del área.
