Motivación escolar a través de la Educación Ambiental

Abstract

El trabajo recoge los principales resultados que se han obtenido de la magnífica experiencia que está llevando a cabo el Instituto de Geofísica y Astronomía con el desarrollo del Círculo de Interés de Medio Ambiente “Amamos lo verde”, el cual lo integran niños de 6to grado de la escuela primaria Fabricio Ojeda del Municipio Playa y es apadrinado por el Hotel Meliá Habana. Este trabajo posee la característica de ser el primero en esta temática que se realiza dentro de un marco hotelero en Ciudad de La Habana y a la vez, involucrar en él, a la alta gerencia y a los trabajadores del Hotel, contribuyendo así al desarrollo y profundización de sus conocimientos ambientales. Tiene como objetivos principales: ¾ Lograr mejoras significativas en la conducta y aprendizaje de niños y niñas con determinadas dificultades. ¾ Implementar la labor de educación ambiental dentro del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental del Hotel. Extrapolar la labor del Hotel hacia la comunidad. Motivar a los niños en el aprendizaje de la naturaleza dentro de un ambiente saludable. Sensibilizar a los trabajadores y directivos del Hotel en los temas ambientales.
