Zonificación Agroecológica del Coffea arábica en un Sector del Grupo Orográfico de Guamuhaya, Cuba, utilizando los SIG

Abstract

A partir del análisis de las condiciones edafoclimáticas y de relieve que influyen en el cultivo del café y el territorio de estudio se efectuó la zonificación agroecológica de acuerdo con su potencial productivo, mediante la determinación de los factores geográficos y edafoclimáticos que son importantes para el establecimiento de la especie y la obtención de óptimos rendimientos. La delimitación de los requerimientos agroecológicos y la utilización del Sistema de Información Geográfico en el municipio de Manicaragua permitieron la zonificación agroecológica de acuerdo al potencial productivo del café. Based on the analysis of the edaphoclimatic and relief conditions that influence the cultivation of coffee and the study territory, agroecological zoning was carried out according to its productive potential, by determining the geographical and edaphoclimatic factors that are important for the establishment of the species and obtaining optimal yields. The delimitation of the agroecological requirements and the use of the Geographical Information System in the municipality of Manicaragua allowed the agroecological zoning according to the productive potential of the coffee.
