Abstract

Preparar y presentar la Tercera Comunicación Nacional de Cuba, lo que permitirá brindar información a la Conferencia de las Partes de la CMNUCC (como es definido por los artículos 4 y 12 de la Convención). Preparar y presentar el Primer Reporte Bienal, de manera consistente con los requerimientos de reporte definidos en la Decisión 2/CP.17 de la Conferencia de las Partes de la CMNUCC, Anexo III, lo que permitirá fortalecer los mecanismos nacionales de monitoreo y verificación y la evaluación de los beneficios colaterales. Reforzar la capacidad técnica e institucional de Cuba para la implementación de sus compromisos bajo la CMNUCC, y contribuir a integrar y sintetizar conocimientos e información relativos al cambio climático y su vínculo con las prioridades del desarrollo sectorial y territorial.
