Consideraciones sobre la interpolación de elementos meteorológicos en latitudes tropicales

Abstract

Se hace un estudio de las características de las masas de aire sobre Cayo Hueso y Caimán Grande, durante el invierno 1976-1977, realizándose un detallado análisis de la capa baja de la Troposfera sobre las estaciones señaladas, a las 1200 GMT, antes de la entrada e inmediatamente después de la entrada de los frentes en la región occidental de Cuba. Se comparan los elementos en el marco de una misma masa de aire y en el de dos masas de aire diferentes, en busca de criterios que permitan su interpolación espacial y definan los distintos tipos de frentes fríos, según la clasificación establecida por el Instituto de Meteorología de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba.
