Abstract

La intención de la siguiente ponencia es contribuir a la discusión de la importancia que representa el ser jefa del hogar, a través de la experiencia de diez mujeres que habitan en la Colonia el Seminario de la Ciudad de Toluca, con el propósito de mostrar las transformaciones que se han venido presentando en la sociedad principalmente en el hogar y en las relaciones de familia, incluyendo investigación cualitativa, este tipo de investigación nos permitió conocer otros aspectos que las estadísticas consideran poco relevantes y pudimos identificar de manera individual elementos en torno a la vivienda y a la jefatura de hogar femenina.
