Estudio florístico de la Reserva Ecológica La Coca, provincias La Habana y Mayabeque, Cuba
Abstract
La loma de La Coca ha sido una región bien explorada desde el punto de vista botánico, no así el resto de la Reserva Ecológica de igual nombre. Con el objetivo de actualizar el plan de manejo del área protegida, se realiza el presente inventario florístico, para lo cual se visitaron y exploraron cinco localidades de la región. Se identificaron 384 taxones de plantas pertenecientes a 84 familias. Los taxones endémicos (58) representan el 18,23 % de la flora nativa. Se encontraron 28 taxones amenazados, siete de ellos En Peligro Crítico. Se identificaron 35 especies exóticas invasoras y 11 potencialmente invasoras. Se reportaron por primera vez para la Reserva nueve especies de Orchidaceae.La Coca hill has been well explored from the botanical point of view, but the Ecological Reserve with the same name has not. A total of 384 taxa of plants were identified belonging to 84 families. The endemic taxa (58) represent 18,23 % of native taxa. 29 threatened taxa were found, seven of them were Critically Endangered.
