Abstract

Objetivo principal realizar el análisis y el diagnóstico de la zona o región con el fin de controlar y planificar las actividades humanas en ella para un posible reordenamiento territorial y un mejor aprovechamiento de sus recursos con el mínimo de deterioro ambiental. En la cuenca hidrográfica del río Martín Pérez coexisten una serie de factores que hacen necesaria una evaluación de este tipo, ya que sus vertimientos tributan a la bahía de La Habana a través de este río y de los drenes pluviales, incidiendo de forma directa e indirecta, negativamente, en el ecosistema de la bahía y de la propia cuenca.
