Obtención de carbón vegetal de los residuos de la industria forestal

Abstract

Se dan a conocer los resultados obtenidos en la obtención de carbón vegetal mediante la conversión de residuos maderables en un horno metálico con capacidad de 7 m3. Se comprobó que el horno metálico presenta una serie de ventajas con respecto al método tradicional en cuanto al rendimiento de carbón y a la humanización del trabajo de los operarios. Se encontró que los carbones obtenidos presentan bajo contenido de cenizas, por lo que su uso doméstico y en la industria se ve favorecido por este concepto, así como su alto porciento de carbono fijo. El carbón muestra una buena calidad, en cuanto a las propiedades de inflamabilidad, combustibilidad y reactividad particularmente este último que se está favorecido por la porosidad que presenta. Se observó la importancia de la preparación del capital humano en la disciplina tecnológica en la obtención de biocombustibles. They are given the results in the obtaining of vegetable charcoal by means of the conversion of wood residuals in a metallic klin with capacity of 7 m3. It was proved that the metallic oven presents advantages compared to the traditional method as for the yield of charcoal and humanización of the operatives work. It was found that the obtained charcoal present low content of ashes, so it domestic and in the industry use, is favored by this concept, as well as it high percent of fixed carbon. The charcoal shows a good quality, interms of flamability, combustibility and reactivity properties particularly this last one that is favored by the porosity that presents. The importance of the preparation of the human capital was observed in the technological discipline in the biocombustibles obtaining.
