| dc.description.abstract | Se examinaron helmintológicamente mil doscientos cuatro especímenes pertenecientes a cinco géneros y treinta especies de anfibios de 97 localidades del archipiélago cubano. Se determinaron trece especies de nematodos (siete adultos y seis larvas), se reportaron 74 nuevos hospedadores definitivos y se identificaron 88 nuevas localidades, lo que contribuyó al conocimiento del rango de hospedadores y la distribución geográfica. De estos nematodos, Physalopteroides valdesi (Coy et al., 1980) se redescribió con base en nuevo material.One thousand two hundred and four specimens belonging to 5 genera. and 30 species of amphibians from 97 localities of the Cuban Archipelago were examined helminthologically.Thirteen species of nematodes were determined (7 adults and 6 larvae), 74 new definite hosts are reported, and 88 new localities are given, thus contributing to the knowledge of the host-range and geographic distribution.
