Distribución territorial de la población rural de la Provincia de Pinar del Río con relación al uso de la tierra

Abstract

Se presenta un mapa en el cual se emplea el método de superposición cartográfica y la técnica de la cuadrícula para interrelacionar la distribución de la población con el uso de la tierra en la Provincia de Pinar del Río. Entre los resultados se destaca la alta densidad de población relacionada con el cultivo del tabaco, las medias vinculadas a tubérculos y raíces y las bajas asociadas a los pastos y al monte y la manigua. A map is presented in which the cartographic superposition method and the grid technique are used to interrelate the distribution of the population with the use of the land in the Province of Pinar del Río. Among the results we can highlight the high population density related to the cultivation of tobacco, the averages related to tubers and roots and the losses associated with the pastures and the bush and the jungle.
