Establecimiento de cortinas rompevientos en el escenario agrario cubano

Abstract

Esta obra constituye una adecuada respuesta del Instituto de Investigaciones Agro-Forestales a los planteamientos recientes del Ministerio de la Agricultura sobre la necesidad del escenario agrario cubano de retomar el tema de las cortinas rompevientos a partir de los pronunciamientos iniciales del Comandante en Jefe en los años sesenta del pasado siglo y su vigencia a la luz del cambio climático que ya se está manifestando, expresada en los grandes efectos negativos de frecuentes huracanes en instalaciones y sistemas de producción agropecuaria del país. This work is an appropriate response Research Institute Agro - Forest to the recent proposals of the Ministry of Agriculture on the need of the Cuban agrarian scenario revisit the issue of windbreaks from the initial pronouncements of the Commander in Chief in the years sixties of last century and its validity in the light of climate change already being manifested , expressed in large negative effects of frequent hurricanes in plant and livestock production systems in the country.
