Una lista preliminar anotada de Dryinidae de Cuba (Insecta: Hymenoptera)

Abstract

Los drínidos son pequeñas avispas parásitas de homópteros (Auchenorryncha). La mayoría de las hembras de drínidos son ápteras y sus patas delanteras son queladas. La sistemática de este grupo ha sido causa de gran confusión, debido principalmente a la escasez de material en colecciones, el vacío de claves de identificación, la difícil asociación de los sexos y la incorrecta aplicación de la nomenclatura. EL conocimiento de la sistemática de los drínidos cubanos es escaso. Este trabajo se actualiza la lista de las especies cubanas, proveyendo 14 registros nuevos e información de su distribución geográfica. Dryinids are small wasps that parasitize homopterans (Auchenorryncha). Most female dryinids are apterous and have chelate forelegs. The systematics of this group has been the source of great confusion, due mostly to the scarcity of material in collections, the lack of identification keys, the difficult association of the sexes, and the incorrect application of nomenclature (Olmi, 1984a). Knowledge of the systematics of Cuban dryinids is meager. In this paper we update the list of Cuban species, provide 14 new records and information on their geographic range.
