Abstract

Se generó un modelo agrometeorológico de evaluación de la sequía agrícola sustentado en el seguimiento decadal de las condiciones secas resultantes del índice de humedecimiento para los cultivos, obtenido como salida del balance hídrico agrometeorológico del suelo, sobre la base de la introducción de técnicas avanzadas en el terreno internacional aplicadas a la determinación de la demanda evaporativa de la atmósfera y al uso del agua por las plantas, el cual permite evaluar la sequía agrícola atendiendo al área afectada, a su duración y a su intensidad.
