La zona de mejores condiciones para el cultivo es La Tagua, con mayor calidad y rendimiento por variedad, los años 2001 y 2002 resultaron las de mayor rendimiento y la producción total es mayor en la ciudad con un 64% , al tener mayores áreas en explotación , encontrándose las flores de menor calidad y menor rendimiento por variedad, las flores de mayor producción y presencia en el mercado, resultaron ser: Margarita ,Girasol, Helecho, Extraña Rosa, Lirio, Marisol, Rosa, Imperial, Radiante, Rosa Blanca y Rosa Búlgara.
