Variabilidad intra e interanual de las lluvias con acumulados iguales o superiores a 50mm en 24 horas

La lluvias iguales o mayores de 50 mm en 24 horas tienen importancia en la ocurrencia de altas intensidades principalmente en los intervalos temporales de hasta 2 horas. En el presente trabajo se analiza la variabilidad intra e interanual de las lluvias con acumulados iguales o mayores que 50 mm en 24 horas, así como el papel que juega el evento ENOS en la ocurrencia de estas lluvias, según los reportes de las estaciones del Instituto de Meteorología durante el período 19802000. In the present work the intra and interannual variability of rainfall with accumulated equal or greater than 50 mm in 24 hours is analyzed, as well as the role played by the ENSO event in the occurrence of these rains, according to the reports of the stations of the Institute of Meteorology during the period 19802000.
