La adecuada selección de las técnicas de riego. Una contribución al manejo sostenible de tierras

Abstract

Como parte de la gestión por el aumento de la producción cañera en el país, se han realizado fuertes inversiones para incrementar las áreas de riego las cuales deben tener una respuesta productiva con una eficiente explotación. La asistencia técnica tiene como objetivo dar solución a tres grandes problemas, la no eficiencia en el uso del agua, la improductividad agrícola y la no eficiencia económica, aspectos que contribuyen significativamente al manejo sostenible de tierras. Por tanto la misma parte de un diagnóstico e inventario de riego y drenaje, continúa con recomendaciones que se identifican con la planificación de la operación de los sistemas, la zonificación de los requerimientos hídricos y las tecnologías de riego y drenaje y por último la elaboración de los proyectos agronómicos. El monitoreo de las recomendaciones se efectúa mediante la ejecución y supervisión de la operación, por el control cualitativo de las actividades agrícolas a realizar en las áreas beneficiadas por el riego. As part of the administration for the increase of the sugar cane production in the country, they have been carried out strong investments to increase the irrigation areas which should have a productive answer with an efficient exploitation. The technical attendance has as objective to give solution to three big problems, the non-efficiency in the use of the water, the agricultural unproductiveness and the not economic efficiency, this points have a contribution to management sustainable of earths. Therefore the same part of a diagnosis and irrigation and drainage inventory, continue with recommendations that are identified with the planning of the operation of the systems, the location of the water requirements and the irrigation and drainage technologies and lastly the elaboration of the agronomic projects. The pursuit of the recommendations is made by means of the execution and supervision of the operation, for the qualitative control of the agricultural activities to carry out in the areas benefitted by the irrigation.
