Este es el tema que se aborda en la investigación, realizada en la CPA 26 de Julio, cuyo objetivo es identificar los impactos ambientales, darle un orden de prioridad y cuantificarlos. Además se proponen cuentas MEMO y medioambientales dentro de las partidas de la contabilidad tradicional y se plantean una serie de medidas a seguir para mitigar los efectos dañinos al ambiente. En el contenido del trabajo se aplican métodos como: Método de costo de salud, Selección de expertos, Método analítico de jerarquías, el Análisis costo-beneficio y también encuestas. La investigación brinda una base conceptual y un grupo de pasos y herramientas bien definidos para contribuir a la gestión económica ambiental en la empresa objeto de estudio.
