La familia Selenopidae (Arachnida: Araneae) en Cuba

Abstract

Se revisan diecisiete especies cubanas conocidas de la familia Selenopidae Selenops vexillarius Muma, 1953 se sinonimiza bajo S. aissus Walckenaer, 1837. Se describen siete nuevas especies: S. iberia, S. caney, S. canasta, S. cabagan, S. imias, S. siboney y S. rosario. Los machos de S. aissus Muma, 1953; S. simio Muma, 1953; S. alemani Muma, 1953; Se describen por primera vez S. formosus Bryant, 1940 y S. vinalesi Muma, 1953. Se modifica el grupo de especies de Muma (1953). Se comenta la historia natural y la distribución. Se proporciona una clave para la identificación de las especies cubanas.
