Tributo a Eduardo Furrazola Gómez (1962-2021)

Abstract

El Instituto de Ecología y Sistemática rinde merecido tributo a Eduardo Furrazola Gómez, por su destacada labor científica desarrollada en Cuba. El objetivo principal de la presente publicación es revelar de forma sintética su trayectoria científica y sus logros que le permitieron llegar a ser uno de los investigadores más productivos de la entidad y alcanzar respeto y prestigio a nivel nacional e internacional en el trabajo de la Ciencias Biológicas, con énfasis en los estudios taxonómicos y ecológicos de los hongos micorrizógenos arbusculares. The Institute of Ecology and Systematics pays well-deserved tribute to Eduardo Furrazola Gómez, for his outstanding scientific work carried out in Cuba. The main objective of this publication is to briefly reveal his scientific career and his achievements that allowed him to become one of the most productive researchers of the entity and achieve national and international respect and prestige in the work of Biological Sciences, with emphasis on axonomic and ecological studies of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.
