La colección de plantas de ecosistemas sobre arenas cuarcíticas en el Herbario del Jardín Botánico de Pinar del Río (HAJU), Cuba.

Abstract

El Herbario del Jardín Botánico de Pinar del Río cuenta con una colección que ya ha servido a los intereses de muchos especialistas de todo el país y el extranjero, por contener ejemplares representativos del endemismo pinareño una región con niveles de diversidad vegetal muy altos, en ella están representados ejemplares de todos los distritos fitogeográficos de la provincia, pero el caso de las arenas cuarcíticas resulta ser una particularidad casi exclusiva de la misma , con la ayuda de una aplicación de escritorio propiedad de la institución que maneja su base de datos, hemos podido realizar un balance actualizado de esta interesante colección que damos a conocer en este trabajo con el objetivo de aumentar la visualización de la misma para la comunidad científica de Cuba y el Mundo. The Herbarium of the Botanical Garden of Pinar del Río count with a collection that has already served the interests of many specialists of the whole country and outside. It is because in its collection have many representative samples of the endemism of Pinar del Río, a region with very high levels of vegetable diversity. In addition, there are samples of all the phytogeographic districts of Cuba, but the case of the quartzouse sands turns out to be an almost exclusive particularity of the same one. With the help of a desktop application property of the institution that manages its database, we have been able to carry out an up-todate balance of this interesting collection that we give to know in this work with the objective to increase the reviewing and consulting of it by the Cuban and foreigner scientist community.
