Instructivo técnico para el levantamiento en campo de servicios ecosistémicos en agroecosistemas cubanos bajo MST

Abstract

Este Instructivo técnico es elaborado con el propósito final de conocer sobre los servicios ambientales en los agroecosistemas evaluados en el país, con algún nivel de implementación de MST. Esta información, a su vez, se contempla como componente o verificador del bioindicador denominado Manejo amigable con la biodiversidad, dentro del set de indicadores ambientales de la diversidad biológica, creados para evaluar el MST en sistemas productivos cubanos (Hechavarría et al., 2019). Para la confección de este Instructivo se tuvieron en cuenta los bienes y servicios ecosistémicos identificados en el Manual de Procedimientos de MST para Cuba (Urquiza et al., 2011), además de alguna bibliografía internacional sobre el tema en sistemas agrícolas (MEA, 2005; Zaccagnini et al., 2014; IICA, 2014; Martínez-Rodríguez et al., 2017). La intención fue elaborar un material que facilitara la comprensión de esta temática bajo un formato sencillo y preciso, y donde también se agrupara dicha información de modo organizado para simplificar su levantamiento en campo, por parte de especialistas o productores. No obstante, constituye una primera aproximación, susceptible aún de ser mejorada.This technical instruction is prepared with the final purpose of knowing about the environmental services in the agroecosystems evaluated in the country, with some level of SLM implementation. This information, in turn, is considered as a component or verifier of the bioindicator called Friendly Management with Biodiversity, within the set of environmental indicators of biological diversity, created to evaluate the SLM in Cuban productive systems (Hechavarría et al., 2019). For the preparation of this Instruction, the ecosystem goods and services identified in the SLM Procedures Manual for Cuba (Urquiza et al., 2011) were taken into account, in addition to some international bibliography on the subject in agricultural systems (MEA, 2005; Zaccagnini et al., 2014; IICA, 2014; Martínez-Rodríguez et al., 2017). The intention was to prepare material that would facilitate the understanding of this topic in a simple and precise format, and where said information would also be grouped in an organized way to simplify its collection in the field, by specialists or producers.
