Resultados del inventario forestal realizado en las plantaciones de Bambusa vulgaris Schard var. vulgaris en el Municipio Guane perteneciente a la Empresa Forestal Integral Macurije de la provincia de Pinar del Río.

Abstract

Bambusa vulgaris Schard var. vulgaris es una de las especies de bambú que mayormente se encuentra distribuida a lo largo de todo el país, fundamentalmente en orillas de los ríos, en forma de plantones. Esta especie se destaca por ser conservadora de los suelos, tiene gran uso en la pesca, construcciones etc. En el estudio realizado sobre la especie en el Municipio Guane perteneciente a la Empresa Forestal Integral Macurije de la provincia de Pinar del Río, se incluyó el inventario forestal, con el objetivo de conocer las existencias, su situación y fomentar el establecimiento de nuevas plantaciones. Se obtuvieron con el inventario forestal los datos de cantidad de plantones, culmos en el plantón según el estado vegetativo, altura, diámetro, peso del culmo y que el Municipio Guane tiene 34 ha de Bambusa vulgaris Schard var. vulgaris. Bambusa vulgaris Schard var. vulgaris is one of the bamboo species highly distributed along the whole country, mainly on river banks in scion ways. This species stands out by being soil preserver, it is used in fishing and constructions. In the research conducted about the species at Macurije Comprehensive Forestry Enterprise, Pinar del Río a forestry inventory was included aimed at knowing about the existence of it and its situation, as well as promoting the establishment of new plantations. Data about the amount of scions, culms on the scions according to the vegetative status, height, diameter, and weight of the culm were obtained; it was also determined that in Guane municipality exist 34 hectares of Bambusa vulgaris Schard var. vulgaris.
