The delimitation of the Guanahacabibes Peninsula allowed the compilation, review and analysis of all available information, published and unpublished, on the threatened wild vascular taxa (12.6% of the total flora). There were 52 families, 93 genera and 100 taxa of them 36 Critically Endangered (18 endemisms), 37 Endangered (24 endemisms) and 27 Vulnerable (17 endemisms). Endangered endemisms represent 7.4% of the flora. The most vulnerable territory was located in the coastal area south of the peninsula from Cabo San Antonio to Cabo Corrientes. Potential threats to the floristic diversity and vulnerability of the territory 39 combinations of anthropic and natural negative actions.es_ES
The establishment of limits in Guanahacabibes peninsula, Western Cuba, allowed the compilation, revision and analysis of all the available information, either published or unpublished, about threatened wild plant species (12,6% of the flora of Guanahacabibes). A total of 52 families, 93 genera and 100 taxa were found, 36 critically endangered (18 endemics), 37 endangered (24 endemics) and 27 vulnerable (17 endemics). Threatened endemics comprise 7,4% of the local flora. The most vulnerable territory is the southern littoral zone from Cabo San Antonio to Cabo Corrientes. In addition, 39 combinations of anthropic and negative natural actions increase threats to the flora biodiversity and vulnerabi-lity of this territory.es_ES
