The aquatic insects of the “Alexander Humboldt” National Park, Cuba As part of two expeditions carried out between the months of March and April of 2003, the aquatic insects of the "AlexanderHumboldt" National Park were studied. A total of 42 species were found belonging to 25 families and 6 orders of Insecta. It is the third time the genus Antillopsyche Banks (Trichoptera: Polycentropodidae) has been found in eastern Cuba and the second and third time, respectively, for Austrotinodes cubanus Kumanski, 1987 and Hagenulus (Hagenulus) caligatus (Eaton, 1882). Hagenulus (Traverina) oriente is recorded from the "Sagua Baracoa orographic group" subregion for the second time. Taking into account the number of individuals as well as the species composition, the differences between the samples are analyzed and the results are compared with the previous data from the Nipe-Sagua-Baracoa and Sierra Maestra mountains. | es_ES |
