Nuevos aportes sobre los crustáceos (Crustacea) de la península de Guanahacabibes, Cuba

Abstract

Hasta el presente sólo se han publicado tres trabajos acerca de los crustáceos de la península de Guanahacabibes, en la zona más occidental de Cuba. Se presentan los resultados obtenidos en la cuarta Expedición cubano-española efectuada en el verano del año 2008, a bordo del B/I “Felipe Poey” del Centro de Investigaciones Marinas de la Universidad de La Habana, a la Península de Guanahacabibes. Fueron identificados 17 crustáceos no decápodos y siete decápodos. De los no decápodos (un anfípodo y un isópodo) constituyen nuevos registros para las aguas cubanas. Up today three papers were published regarding the crustaceans of the Peninsula of Guanahacabibes, at the western must part of the Cuban Archipelago. The results when searching the obtained material during the Cuban- Spanish Expedition on board of the R/V “Felipe Poey” from the Centre for Marine Research of the Havana University, to the Peninsula of Guanahacabibes, on summer of 2008 were presented. A total of 17 non-decapods and seven decapods crustaceans are pointed out. Two non-decapods (one amphipod and one isopod) are new records for the Cuban waters.
