Abstract

Cambios en los procesos de irrigación en la cuenca2 Alto Atoyac, cambios en las formas de apropiación del agua superficial y subterránea para uso agrícola, permite comprender que la transformación de los espacios naturales, en este caso específico los relacionados con el funcionamiento del sistema hidrológico3 y los agrosistemas asociados, solo es posible a partir considerar la interacción existente entre estos sistemas y las relaciones sociales y económicas de los pueblos asentados en la cuenca, es decir, bajo la condición de interdependencia sociedad-naturaleza. No se trata solamente de describir algunos hechos sociales a través de su historia y/o caracterizar los procesos naturales que coinciden en tiempo y espacio con ellos, se trata de entender la interdependencia de estos sistemas en los procesos de construcción social del hombre y el territorio (producido y natural).
