Dípteros (Insecta: Diptera) del Area Protegida “Mil Cumbres”, Pinar del Río, Cuba

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el primer inventario de los dípteros del Área Protegida “Mil Cumbres”, por lo que la información que se brinda es el resultado de la revisión de las colecciones de insectos ubicada en la Colección Zoológica del Instituto de Ecología y Sistemática; de la bibliografía y de muestreos realizados en los años 2001 y 2002, con redes entomológicas y trampas de Malaise, en las siguientes localidades: Forneguera, Sierra Chiquita y Pan de Guajaibón. The objective of this work is to present the first inventory of Diptera of the Protected Area “Mil Cumbres”. The information provided is the result of the revision of the collections of insects located in the Zoological Collection of the Institute of Ecology and Systematics; of the bibliography and of samples realized in the years 2001 and 2002, with entomological networks and Malaise traps, in the following localities: Forneguera, Sierra Chiquita and Pan of Guajaibón.
