Evaluación de los recursos hídricos de Cuba

Abstract

El volumen de agua total de Cuba ha sido reexaminado, obteniéndose 32 mil hm3, valor inferior a los anteriormente publicados de 34 y 38 mil hm3. La estimación se ha realizado sobre la base de cálculos detallados para 628 cuencas hidrográficas en con-diciones naturales (no reguladas). Los materiales y métodos para obtener los resulta-dos han sido totalmente descritos. The total volume of water in Cuba has been reexamined, obtaining 32 thousand hm3, lower than the previously published value of 34 and 38 thousand hm3. The estimate has been made on the basis of detailed calculations for 628 hydrographic basins in natural conditions (unregulated). The materials and methods to obtain the results have been fully described.
