Diferencias territoriales en usos de las tierras agrícolas y de cultivos en las cooperativas de producción agropecuaria

Abstract

El incremento en Cooperativas de Producci6n Agropecuaria contribuye a elevar la partidipación del sector socializado en la agricultura cubana. Por la importancia de este proceso se estudiaron sus tierras agrícolas y estructuras, con el objetivo de caracterizar las provincias y el municipio especial según sus disponibilidades de superficies y usos principales, mediante métodos analíticos y de clasificación simple. Los resultados reflejan valores relativos de las tierras agrícolas más altos que en el cultivo de dichas tierras, por la presencia de áreas de pastos naturales y otras ociosas, distinguiéndose en el país tres grandes zonas diferenciadas: 1) del occidente a Cienfuegos; 2) de Camagüey al extremo este; 3) Sancti Spíritus y Ciego de Ávila. El trabajo es un aporte al conjunto de estudios territoriales sobre las transformaciones en el área rural. The increase in Cooperatives of Agricultural Production contributes to elevate the participation of the socialized sector in Cuban agriculture. Because of the importance of this process, they were studied their agricultural lands and structures, with the objective of characterizing the provinces and the special municipality according to their availabilities of surfaces and main uses, by means of analytical methods and simple classification. The results reflect relative values of the higher agricultural lands than in the cultivation of these lands, due to the presence of natural pastures and other idle areas, distinguishing three large differentiated zones in the country: 1) from the west to Cienfuegos; 2) from Camagüey to the east end; 3) Sancti Spíritus and Ciego de Ávila. The work is a contribution to the set of territorial studies on the transformations in the rural area.
