Distribución territorial de la apicultura estatal cubana

Abstract

La apicultura cubana ha recibido una atención especial en la actividad del sector apropecuario cubano, por el papel de sus producciones en el contexto de la economía nacional y por su comercialización externa. Dada la importancia de esta subrama, prácticamente sin tratar en la geografía cubana, se plantea mostrar las peculiaridades en la realización productiva de la apicultura, así como los rasgos principales de su distribución territorial. Se combinó el análisis de la información estadística con el cartográfico de los materiales del Nuevo Atlas Nacional de Cuba. Uno de los resultados es la manifestación de una distribución territorial muy dispersa, ya que en todas las provincias y en el Municipio especial Isla de la Juventud se desarrolla alguna fase de la actividad, aunque se detectan particularidades locales, lo cual refleja el incremento producido en la apicultura. The Cuban apiculture has received special attention in the activity of the Cuban owned sector, for the role of its productions in the context of the national economy and for its external commercialization. Given the importance of this sub-branch, practically untreated in Cuban geography, it is proposed to show the peculiarities in the productive realization of beekeeping, as well as the main features of its territorial distribution. The analysis of the statistical information was combined with the cartography of the materials of the New National Atlas of Cuba. One of the results is the manifestation of a very dispersed territorial distribution, since in all the provinces and in the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud some stage of the activity is developed, although local particularities are detected, which reflects the increase in the beekeeping
