Listas florísticas de la Reserva Natural de Maraguán, provincia Camagüey, Cuba

Abstract

Se analizó la diversidad florística del área en estudio y se recolectaron 215 taxones de plantas vasculares cubanas; 115 en zonas de cerros calizos y 140 en la planicie serpentinítica. El índice de endemismo fue cercano al 24,5%, con el mayor número de endémicas en las tierras bajas de la Reserva y Cuba oriental y Cuba oriental fueron las más abundantes. Se refirieron las potencialidades de los diferentes taxones, 143 con diversas aplicaciones que se eliminaron en dos listas. Los resultados respaldaron la propuesta de la Reserva Natural de Maraguan que se incluirá en el sistema de áreas protegidas de la provincia de Camagüey. The floristic diversity of the area under study was analized and 215 taxa of Cuban vascular plants were collected; 115 in zones of limestone hills and 140 in the serpentinitic plain. The endemism index was near 24.5%, with the gretest number of endemics in the lowlands of the Reservation and Cuba central-Cuba oriental were the most abundant. The potentialities of the different taxa were referred, 143 with diverse applications that were taken off in two list. The results supported the proposition of Natural Reservation of Maraguan to be included in the system of protected areas of Camagüey province.
