Análisis espacial de la apicultura en el Municipio Artemisa

Abstract

La apicultura en el municipio de Artemisa es una de las más productivas de la provincia, sin embargo, el alto grado de explotación de algunas áreas atenta contra el futuro de la actividad. Durante la investigación se ubicaron los apiarios a partir del empleo de técnicas en los Sistemas de Información Geográficos con el objetivo de analizar la distribución espacial de los mismos, a su vez, el cálculo de los Radios de Vuelo Económico (RVE) permitieron identificar las densidades de colmenas a partir de la cantidad de intersecciones que se producían entre los RVE. En la mayoría de los casos predominó la clasificación de alta, debido al gran solapamiento entre apiarios, los cuales se ubican mayormente en el centro del territorio a distancias mucho menores del RVE de las abejas. The apiculture in the municipality Artemisa is one of the most productive of the province, however, the high grade of exploitation of something area threatens the future of the activity. During the investigation the apiaries were located from the use of techniques in the Geographic Information Systems with the objective of analyzing the spatial distribution of the same, in turn, the calculation of the Economic Flight Radios (EFR) allowed to determine the densities of hives by starting from the number of intersections that occurred between the EFR. In most cases the classification of discharge was predominant due to the great overlap between apiaries, which are mostly located in the center of the territory at much lower distances from the EFR of the bees.
