El género Calyptrogyne(Arecaceae) en Antillas Mayores

Abstract

Se presenta un sistema taxonómico para los táxones del género Calyptrogyne de Geonomatae (Arecaceae), que refleja la filogenia y clarifica la nomenclatura. Se designan tres lectotipos y un neotipo de segundo paso, a la vez que se añaden precisiones a cinco holotipos y un lectotipo anteriormente designados. Se precisa la información del holotipo de Calyptrogyne rivalis (O. F. Cook) León. Se incluye una clave analítica para la diferenciación de las especies de Calyptrogyne que habitan en las Antillas Mayores y se informa su distribución. A taxonomic system for Calyptrogyne genus of Geonomatae (Arecaceae) taxa is presented, which reflects phylogeny and clarifies the nomenclature. Three lectotypes and a neotype of the second step are designated, while details are added to a previously designated five holotype and a lectotype. Calyptrogyne rivalis(O. F. Cook) León holotype information is identified. An analytical key is included for the differentiation of Calyptrogyne species that inhabit the Greater Antilles and its distribution is reported.
