IDE-SIG sobre mapas antiguos de Cuba de la Fundación Antonio Núñez Jiménez (SIGFANJ 1.0)

Abstract

La presentación versa sobre el Sistema de Información Geográfico (SIG)/Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales (IDE) montado en la Fundación Antonio Núñez Jiménez (FANJ) sobre los materiales antiguos (mapas y fotos aéreas) fundamentalmente existentes en la misma, de forma organizada y georeferenciada. Entre ellos se pueden mencionar el ploteo de un grupo de fotos aéreas (unas 900) de 1947-1950, que posiblemente sea un material único, las planchetas del vuelo americano de 1956, el mapa americano de 1906-1908 (Reconnaissance Military Map of Cuba), tanto las copias existentes en FANJ como los originales de la Biblioteca del Congreso, Washington DC., el mapa de Pichardo 1875 y de Vives 1834, entre otros. The presentation is the Geographic Information System (GIS) / Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) mounted in Antonio Núñez Jiménez Foundation (FANJ) mainly with existing old materials (ancient maps and aerial photos), organized and georeferenced. Among them we can mention the plot of a group of aerial photos (900) from 1947 to 1950, which may be a unique material, the Plane-American flight 1956, American map 1906-1908 (Reconnaissance Military Map of Cuba), copy existing in FANJ and the originals of the Library of Congress, Washington DC., the map of Pichardo, 1875 and Vives,1834, among others.
