Especies exóticas invasoras en la investigación social y el quehacer cultural del Museo

Abstract

El proyecto “Educación y Comunicación para la prevención, control y manejo de especies exóticas invasoras”, del cual el Museo Nacional de Historia Natural es coparticipante. Entre las líneas de trabajo de este proyecto a las cuales el Museo tributa se encuentran la socialización de información a través de los medios de comunicación masivos y el fortalecimiento de las acciones educativas en lo relativo al manejo y control de las EEI, tanto por las vías formales como las no formales. En el presente trabajo se refieren las dos salidas comprometidas por el Museo a partir de las líneas citadas y el desarrollo del estudio de representación social acometida que ofreciera la información de base necesaria para ello. The project "Education and Communication for the prevention, control and management of invasive alien species", of which the National Museum of Natural History is a co-participant. Among the lines of work of this project to which the Museum taxes are the socialization of information through the mass media and the strengthening of educational actions in relation to the management and control of IAS, both by the ways Formal and non-formal. In the present work the two exits committed by the Museum are mentioned, starting from the mentioned lines and the development of the study of social representation that offers the basic information necessary for it.
