Sistema de información climática básica

Abstract

Se presentan el diseño y los objetivos generales del sistema de información climática básica, denominado CLIM, que se encarga del procesamiento por computadora, de manera centralizada, de la información climática obtenida cada tres horas por las estaciones meteorológicas instaladas en Cuba, que son operadas por el Instituto de Meteorología de la Academia de Ciencias. También se presentan el diagrama de flujo de la información y los objetivos de cada uno de los programas encargados de los distintos procesos. The design and general objectives of the basic climate information system, called CLIM, are presented, which is responsible for the centralized computer processing of the climate information obtained every three hours by the meteorological stations installed in Cuba, which are operated by the Institute of Meteorology of the Academy of Sciences. The flow chart of the information and the objectives of each of the programs responsible for the different processes are also presented.
