Primer registro del Camachuelo mexicano (Haemorhous mexicanus) (Aves: Passeriformes: Fringillidae) para Cuba

Abstract

Se documenta la presencia del Camachuelo Mexicano (Haemorhous mexicanus) en la Quinta de los Molinos, La Habana, Cuba. El 28 de diciembre de 2018 fue observado un macho adulto forrajeando dentro del jardín, el cual permaneció en el área hasta mediados de marzo del año siguiente. El presente registro constituye el primero de la especie para Cuba. House Finch (Haemorhous mexicanus) was recorded at Quinta de los Molinos, La Havana, Cuba. The bird was observed on December 28th, 2018. It was identified as an adult male who remains foraging inside the site until mid-March of the next year. This record constitutes the first one in the wild of the species on Cuba.
