Nueva localidad para Typhlops leptolepis (Squamata: Typhlopidae) en Holguín,Cuba

Abstract

Se registra una nueva localidad para Typhlops leptolepis en la región oriental de Cuba. Se recolectó un individuo adulto en enero de 2018 en Pinares de Mayarí, Sierra de Nipe. Además, se comentan sobre el tipo de hábitat, las amenazas y la actual distribución geográfica de la especie. Typhlops leptolepis was reported for a new location, in the eastern region of Cuba. It was collected an adult individual in January 2018 in Pinares de Mayarí, Sierra de Nipe. We comment on the type of habitat, threats and the current geographical distribution of the species.
